Seasons of Love: Haiku by Shivangi Sharma

Blanket pours all over
bed doesn’t want to let go
their love pure as snow

Peonies have bloomed
slugs love openly on roads
why won’t you visit too?

Floors are spewing fire
cooled by ceiling fan with love
nothing speaks home more

Sky’s love rumbles loud
showers earth with kisses all over
new weeds are conceived

Leaves of backyard tree
turned deep red blushing with love
even when no one saw

Lights go brighter
we may not admit, but we love
the endings of things
