Postcards from Slovenia #45: Selected Sunsets

The Slovenian coast is the land of the setting sun, and sunsets are something I used to miss whilst living in Spain, as we always lived on the East coast. The sunrises were of course spectacular, but I was not always up and about early enough to appreciate them! Back home in Britain, I used to enjoy watching the sunset over the Solway Firth, weather permitting (which it often didn’t). So nowadays I really am spoiled for sunsets, and I often head out in the evening to enjoy that peaceful and spectacular time of day. Here’s a roundup of some of my Istrian sunset photos.
