‘My Life With MND’ by Daina Mason

I have a very brave aunt, Daina Mason (pictured above), who has been living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) for 8 years. Using eye-gaze technology, she has written her own account of living with the disease, from the first symptoms, through diagnosis right up to her present-day life and challenges. Writing the book was a painstaking process for Daina, but it was important for her to share her story, in the hope of raising awareness, and helping others with the condition.

It is an honour to present her story to you, published in association with EIF. The book is available on Amazon in Kindle and paperback format. 50% of all profits received from sales will go to help those living with MND. I hope you will be encouraged to read her story, which, although full of hardship, is also life-affirming and inspirational.

This is the final EIF publication of 2022. I look forward to bringing you more publishing news in the New Year…

Ingrid

  1. a very special lady Ingrid … I lost a dear friend who’d nursed his own mother to MND. It’s a shocker, so a most worthy cause!

Good for her writing that way, must have been laborious … but what a legacy to leave 🙂

  2. Oh, my goodness, I am already inspired and teary. 💗 An amazing year you’ve had, Ingrid, bringing writer’s words to print and what a special project to end the year with.
