Cover Reveal: Re-create and Celebrate by Cindy Georgakas

Today, I am excited to announce the publication date and reveal the cover of the latest EIF title, Re-create and Celebrate: 7 Steps to turn Your Dreams into Reality by Cindy Georgakas. Many of you will already know and love Cindy from her popular blog, Uniquely Fit. Cindy was actually my first client, way back in January 2022, when she had the idea of creating a poetry/self-help book containing words of wisdom from her life as a Health and Fitness Coach.

Acts of Re-creation

What became clear, as Cindy developed her ideas into a full-length book, was that she actually had the material for two distinct titles: a poetry collection, and a step-by-step self-help workbook and teaching memoir. We decided to proceed with the former idea, adding a carefully-crafted haiku at the end of each step to summarise the teachings. So it was that through the process of re-creation, Re-create and Celebrate was born. Cindy and I look forward to celebrating the book’s release on 20 May 2023!

We have both undergone significant acts of re-creation during this creative process: as many of you will know, Cindy is in phase 3 of a 3-part remodel of her home, and she has other areas of her life in which re-creation is taking place at this very minute. But I’ll let her tell the full story in her book! Meanwhile, I made the decision not to have an elective surgery which would have been life-changing, but, (I decided) not in a good way. Reading through Cindy’s book as I worked through my own life decisions proved invaluable.

About the Book

In this unique book, Cindy guides her readers through simple steps to achieve the life they have always dreamed of. Not simply life goals, but a whole new outlook and way of living. Through her transformational techniques and practices, which she has gained from decades of experience in the field of life coaching, she provides a teaching memoir and workbook containing the tools to build a blueprint to a life of fulfillment, inner peace and happiness.

The cover (pictured above) was also an act of creation and re-creation, as we changed both the image and fonts at the 11th hour. But, as I always find when working on a book project, you know once you find the right cover: it’s a bit like finding true love; everything just works!

Stay tuned to EIF and Cindy’s blog for more exciting updates on this publication. I would also like to congratulate Cindy on being voted Author of the Month at Spillwords Press! And if you like the theme of self-help and personal development, I can recommend the new, number one bestselling release, The Colourblind Grief by Jude Gorini, a novel about how a young, queer Latino man comes to find himself by facing up to his past, breaking free from a dysfunctional family, and recovering from addiction.
