EIF is open for submissions

Just a quick note to say that EIF is now open for submissions for works to be published in 2024:

I will accept submissions of poetry and memoir, but I am looking to publish more fiction in 2024, in particular novels, novellas and short/flash fiction collections, which are experimental and challenging in one form or other, be this narrative voice, structure or subject matter. I’m looking for stories which say something new, or perhaps something old in a new way! I value originality, craft and attention to detail.

  1. Goodness! I’ve been beside myself. A feeling this HSP has never experienced before. But I just know there’s a strong vibe out there. On Saturday I cleaned a closet we used as bookcase out of the house to make room for a butsudan (sacred place for grandmothers’s alter). This is a tradition the oldest son carries for the family. My husband is oldest son.
    On Sunday I filled three bags of weeds: cleaned the yard.
    Today I scrubbed the entryway.

    I am restless.
