Reading: ‘Silent Sky’ by Ivor Steven

Today I am honoured to present bestselling poet Ivor Steven reading his poem ‘Silent Sky’ from The Anthropocene Hymnal. Ivor is a poet from Geelong, Australia, whose poetry collection Tullawalla is burning up the bestseller charts! Definitely recommended reading, please see my review for more information. Now it’s over to the man himself:

Ivor Steven was formerly an Industrial Chemist, then a Plumber, and has been writing poetry for 19 years. His book “Tullawalla’ was published on the 30th March. He has had numerous poems published in anthologies, and on-line magazines. He is an active member of the Geelong Writers Inc. (Australia), and is a team member/barista with the on-line magazine “Go Dog Go Cafe” (America). He recently became the first international member of Coffee House Writers (USA).

The featured image is by Valdis Stakle, and was originally intended to illustrate this poem. However, due to the book layout, it now appears in The Anthropocene Hymnal after the poem ‘The Wheatsheaf.’
