Poetry Reading and Cover Reveal from Barbara Harris Leonhard

Today, I am excited to reveal the full cover of Three-Penny Memories: A Poetic Memoir, the debut poetry collection from Barbara Harris Leonhard, which will be published by EIF on 15 October 2022. I also present a recording in which the author gives some fascinating insights into the story behind the book, and reads her poem ‘Hyperion Raises Doubts:’

Barbara Harris Leonhard’s has been widely published both online and in print, most recently in the Amazon-bestselling anthology, Wounds I Healed: The Poetry of Strong Women. She earned third place and honorary mention for two poems in Well Versed 2021. Barbara was voted Spillwords Author of the Month of October 2021 and recognised as a Spillwords Socialite of the Year in 2021.

Publication update

This week has been extremely busy at EIF HQ, as I put together both the manuscript of the book and the paperback cover (featured above). After several meticulous proofreads from Barbara and consultations with my design team, I was ready to order a paperback proof of the book to check over before submitting for publication. In this way, a book is born! It is both an honour and a privilege to be part of Barbara’s publishing journey. I hope you will enjoy the book as much as I have enjoyed reading and working on it.

  1. Barbara has a lovely voice. A calming and teaching presence. I enjoyed listening to her. It seems her memoir will be relatable. I look forward to reading it. Best wishes to both of you! No more publishing until I catch up with reviews for you and your authors. 😆 Teasing, of course!

    1. Thank you Michele – I have given myself a crazy schedule these last few months. I will take some much-needed downtime after this publication 😅
