‘A Place of Perfect Peace’ published in Route 7 Review

I’m honoured to have my work included in this beautiful publication from Dixie State University. ‘Route 7 Review’ is an annual literary journal including short fiction, non-fiction, poetry, visual art and current affairs. My non-fiction entry is included in the ‘Current Events’ section which contains writers’ and artists’ responses to the Covid crisis.

I turned once again to the Sava Bohinjka for inspiration when writing this piece, which talks about meditation and searching for the inner light when the world outside seems hostile. You can find my work on page 13-14 of Issue 8, and I think you’ll find much more besides if you take a look through this beautifully presented e-magazine. There is also an audio version available.

Thanks to the Route 7 Review team for making this publication possible.

  1. Ingrid, that magazine is so beautiful, and your piece was also. This was super inspiring for me to see in terms of success in the author’s journey. Thanks so much for sharing it with us. A magazine to take pride in being part of, for sure. Wonderful!! Congrats. 🙌💕🍵✨🍵
