Twitter Poetry Week 12 #APoemADay #poetryparty

This week’s Twitter Poetry is a bit of a mixed bag. I think I started off well and after a few days just posted whatever sprung to mind, so there is no particular theme that I can see. I understand that April is #NaPoWriMo or ‘National Poetry Writing Month,’ where poets and bloggers take up the challenge to write a poem every single day. As I’m already doing this, I’ll just add the tag to my usual Twitter poetry. I think writing 2-3 poems per day is excessive, even for me!

I would also like to say welcome on board to Ren Powell, @madorphanlit who has been posting daily and has contributed some fantastic poetry. Thank you for joining in the #poetryparty!

  1. Ingrid, I found day #84 very clever and relatable! <3 When I published my last book, an out-of-date version of Word gave me nightmares. It created thousands of spacing errors on the copies that came back from my publisher, which I had to painstakingly correct one by one, all the while cursing the scammer who had sold me an outdated version of Word. 🙂 Have a great weekend! <3

  2. Ingrid, I especially liked #84 and found it relatable. 🙂 When my last book manuscript came back from the publisher, it had thousands of spacing errors which I had to painstakingly correct. The errors had been created by an outdated version of Word which a con artist had charged me big bucks for. Not an experience I care to repeat!

    Have a great weekend! <3
