I’ll rig the stones
in a crown to cap this Cumbrian hillside:
ley-lined, aligned by fate, and time, and season
and in the centre, stilled, serene, I’ll stay.
The sky above me spins,
and clouds roll by in billows, I
see down the wormhole
to the dawn of time
It is the equal to the end of time
there is no difference:
time’s the illusion and it seems
we’ve lost our way
Sunlight, and beauty of the hills
are waymarkers
we should step back onto this path
without delay
It leads back to the centre, back to
the beginning and the end
and back to love,
where we walk, hand in hand.
