Wounds I Healed: Release Date Announced!

After much hard work, I am excited to announce that the hotly-anticipated poetry anthology Wounds I Healed: The Poetry of Strong Women is due for release on 18 June 2022! Here is a short summary of the book:

Award-winning authors, Pushcart nominees, emerging poets, voices of women and men, come to the fore in this stunning, powerful, and unique anthology. These poems testify both to the challenges that women face in our society, and to their power to overcome them. A memorable collection of over 200 poems by more than 100 authors, this anthology is a must-have for anyone. We all can benefit from the poetry of survival, and of healing. We all can benefit from the experiences so beautifully evoked in this book. We can all come together to emerge triumphant from pain.

On release day, we will also be holding a launch party via Zoom, at which contributors will be reading their poems. This event will be live-streamed via social media, so you will have a chance to hear poems from the Anthology read by the poets themselves. This will be a fantastic introduction to the book, so please follow the following social media accounts for further updates:

Special thanks to editor Gabriela Marie Milton, for devising this project, curating it, and making it possible; to Nick Reeves, for his contribution of the original cover art, and for his proofreading expertise; and to everyone within this community who has encouraged us as we have worked hard to bring the project to fruition!

Watch out for further announcements on launch day of how to buy the book, and watch the launch party!
