Truthtellers Anthology Out Now!

I am honoured to have my poem, ‘For Hilary, Elizabeth, the 1-in-20’ included in the stunning Truthtellers anthology from Free Verse Revolution, which is available now from the Lulu Bookstore. The book is a showcase of some of the best work from the 2022 issues of the literary magazine.

The subject of the poem, my struggle with PMDD, is something on which I have written extensively in the past, and intend to do again in future. Fortunately, I have found an effective treatment which is, by and large, keeping my symptoms under control. But until everyone affected by the condition has access to effective treatment, I will keep speaking up and telling the truth about life with PMDD, a little-known, poorly understood and hugely debilitating condition.
