The Anthropocene Hymnal is now closed for submissions

Thank you so much to everyone who has taken part and submitted work to this anthology. It is a project close to my heart, as my aim is to raise awareness of the joint crises of climate change and biodiversity loss that we are facing as a human race, and as part of the vast family of life on this planet.

I would now ask for your patience while I review submissions and make my final decision regarding which poems will appear in the anthology. I value all submissions, regardless of which poems I choose for my final selection. Simply showing you care means so very much, and in this way we begin to raise awareness and start to have important conversations about how we can make the changes we need in order to survive in the Anthropocene.

In the meantime, I recommend watching the Netflix documentary Seaspiracy, for a shocking exposé  of the wanton destruction of our oceans. We are facing a global problem which needs a global solution. So let’s continue to raise awareness and join our voices in song.
